At the “Stars of Gaziantep” Awards Ceremony, organized by the Gaziantep Chamber of Industry (GSO), four SANKO Holding companies received achievement awards for being ranked among Türkiye’s Top 500 Industrial Enterprises. During the ceremony, held at the Atatürk Cultural Hall of Gaziantep University, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Gaziantep Governor Kemal Çeber, AK Party Deputy Group Chairman and Gaziantep Member of Parliament Abdulhamit Gül, Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin, and GSO Chairman Adnan Ünverdi delivered speeches evaluating the Gaziantep economy.

Following the speeches, awards were presented to GSO member companies included in the ISO 500 Türkiye’s Top 500 Industrial Enterprises list announced by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO). GSO Assembly Chairman Adil Sani Konukoğlu and GSO Chairman Adnan Ünverdi, together with protocol members, presented the awards to company representatives. Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır presented the award to ÇİMKO Cement CEO Dr. Önder Kırca, while the SANKO Textile award was presented to General Manager Gökhan Aydın.

The award for SANKO Energy, which ranked among Türkiye’s Top 500 Industrial Enterprises, was presented to Yiğitcan Konukoğlu, a Member of the SANKO Holding Board of Directors. The award for Süper Film Ambalaj was presented to Ozan Güven, General Manager of Süper Film Ambalaj, by Abdulhamit Gül, AK Party Deputy Group Chairman and Gaziantep Member of Parliament.

According to the 2024 ISO 500 survey conducted by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry, which ranks companies based on their net sales from production, ÇİMKO Cement and Concrete ranked 94th, SANKO Textile Operations 177th, Süper Film Ambalaj 306th, and SANKO Energy 337th.
